Association au Secours des Filles Mères (ASFM)

ASFM is a non-profit organization based in the Far North of Cameroon. It mobilizes and sensitizes the community population on the rights of women, girls/children and persons with disabilities. More specifically, the organization’s main objective is to sensitize people in rural areas to the harmful effects of the practice of early/forced marriage on girls, women and community development. With its three areas of competence (Girls’ Rights, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, Justice and Economic Rights), it also provides training services, advocacy and promotion of women’s leadership.

ASFM receives funding support from the Black Feminist Fund through our Solidarity Fund.
