The Marielle Franco Institute’s mission is to inspire, connect and empower black women, LGBTQIA+ and peripheral people to keep shifting the structures of society. Founded by the Marielle Franco family, our vision for the future is to live in a world where people like Marielle are able to access and remain in different kinds of decision-making spaces.

The Marielle Franco Institute’ receives funding support from the Black Feminist Fund through our Sustain Fund.
